USD 461 Neodesha Schools invites the media to their Early Learning Center groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, September 27 at 2:00 PM at the corner of Grant Street and N. 9th Street. USD 461 Neodesha Schools has taken on the crucial task of securing funding and constructing an Early Learning Center in Neodesha, KS for children from birth to age 5. The district recognizes the pressing need for reliable and accessible childcare services in the Neodesha Community. The groundbreaking ceremony is celebrating the physical beginning of the project as well as celebrating that this project is funded thanks to several large grants. Funding partners, contractors, architects, board members, and legislators will be on hand for remarks about the project. This event promises to be a moment of celebration for the Neodesha community.

As we get ready for Blue/White Scrimmage, we wanted to share our expectations for home football games. It takes every one of us to make sure our gameday experience is top-notch. Parents-please understand that we can't babysit the young kids as we have game administration and other duties to ensure that the actual game is organized and well run. We really need your help! Update: We will still be watching the Wet Bulb Globe Thermometer reading in order to make sure outdoor activities are safe for our athletes. If the reading is too high at 7:00 for MS FB, we may have to re-evaluate. We will ALWAYS make this decision with the student-athlete's safety in mind.
