Congratulations to our North Lawn Classroom Spelling Bee winners! There was intense competition this year! All classes did an incredible job showing respect during the competition, for some, accepting a surprising defeat yet supporting and cheering for each other no matter what! Proud of these students!
The top two from each class will participate in the Neodesha District Bee next Tuesday, Jan 27th at 9 a.m. In the NHS auditorium. Family and friends are invited to attend.
The third place alternate will join to be a part of the audience or be called upon if needed.

North Lawn Parfait with Peeps Reminder!
Parents,
Starting today, January 5, 2026, the NHS cafeteria roof is being replaced. Our bus lane by the band/music rooms will be closed while the roof replacement is being completed. This is estimated to take about 8 weeks.
The temporary NHS bus drop off and pick up with be on Idaho Street next to the MS Commons Outdoor Patio area.
Thank you for working with us during the cafeteria roof replacement.

Activites Bulletin- 11/17-11/21
Some of our third grade poets were able to present Mary Jackson of the Neodesha Food Bank with a check for $359 on Friday. The money came from their recent successful Poetry in the Park event. Wilson Medical Center, a 3rd grade community business partner, graciously matched the 3rd graders donations making the total contribution over $700 to help local families fight hunger. We are proud to be teaching poets and philanthropists at Heller Elementary!

Neodesha USD 461 is looking for an Assistant High School Boy's Basketball coach for the upcoming season. Applications can be picked up/dropped off at the Board of Education office located at 522 Wisconsin and are due by November 4, 2025.
