2nd Annual Neodesha Community Clean up
The student body of Neodesha High School will conduct a general clean up of the community for any interested individual or busines
There is no cost to the individual or business, this is a free service provided by our student body
Projects could include items such as:
Raking leaves, picking up limbs, planting flowers, washing windows, cleaning flower boxes, etc.
Due to liability issues no project can include the use of ladders or power tools
Any individual or business interested in participating in this project is asked to contact Mr. West at firstname.lastname@example.org or 620-205-8303.
The deadline to sign up is March 24th, and the clean up will be conducted on April 5th
North Lawn Elementary School is celebrating the accomplishment of one student's recent accomplishments. Brenna Stierwalt was honored on Tuesday, October 25th, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Wichita. Dr. Brad Neuenswander, Deputy Commissioner of Education presented Brenna with the 3rd Place Prize in the Kansans Can K-12 Art Competition. Pictured are Dr. Neuenswander, Brenna, parents Randy and Dana Stierwalt, little brother Sam, and Theresa Cote, Senior Administrative Specialist, Division of Learning Services. Congratulations to Brenna for a job well done.
The October recipient of the NHS Bluestreak Leadership Award is senior, Lindsay Scott, the daughter of Jerris Conway, Patrick Conway, and Darin & Cari Scott.
Lindsay is a 4-year member of the cheerleading squad, the softball team and the volleyball team earning a state berth and celebrating sub-state champions during her junior year. Lindsay was named an All-American Cheerleader. She is a Renaissance Scholar, a Keith Hersh Scholar, a member of the yearbook staff, a member of FCCLA serving as President and is president of the National Honor Society. Recently, Lindsay was named a Fall Homecoming Queen candidate by the NHS student body. Lindsay’s future plans are to go to Pittsburg State University majoring in nursing.

Neodesha Booster Club - must have participated in high school KSHSAA Athletics
Eldred & Frances Newland Scholarship - must be a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church
Red Cross Blood Drive Scholarship - preference given to blood donators and Student Council members who volunteer at the Blood Drives
Connie Jo Johnson Memorial Scholarship - must attend ICC, Pittsburg State, or Emporia State; preference to business, journalism, or education major
The September Bluestreak Leadership Award Winner for Neodesha High School is senior, Bailey Wells, the daughter of Michelle Wells and Anthony Wells. Bailey is a Renaissance Scholar and secretary of the Senior Class. She is a cheerleader, 4-year letter winner in track and a member of the volleyball team. Bailey is a Band Section Leader, and recently, Bailey was honored as a Fall Homecoming Queen candidate.
